Hiking in Österlen - from Kockska to Vyn

Österlenleden, named one of Sweden's 12 signature trails, and perhaps the most beautiful of them all. Choose the southern trail that takes you along the coast past Brantevik, and magical Gislövshammar. There on the slope overlooking the cornfields and Bornholm, Daniel Berlins Vyn is the destination of your hike.

Hike together and take in the very special atmosphere that exists here in Österlen. You stay with us at the half-timbered hotel Kockska Gården in the middle of old Simrishamn. And in the evening you enjoy a two-course dinner at the fantastic Vyns food and wine bar.

Here's how we think about it:

• You check in with us at Kockska Gården already in the morning.
• We pack a light backpack with good sandwiches, thermos with coffee/tea and a water bottle each to take on the trip.
• A day trip past Brantevik to the mythical Gislövshammar. Of course, we share our best tips on the favorite places and cafes that you pass along the way.
• In the evening, enjoy a 2-course dinner in Vyn's food and bar. And two hours later, the taxi will take you back to Simrishamn and Hotel Kockska Gården.
• In the morning you will enjoy our breakfast with local delicacies - breads, cheeses, muesli, dairy, jams & marmalades, juices and many other goodies. Enjoyed in the breakfast room or in our cozy garden.
